This Week’s Swing Trading Round Up; 17th March 2013

Although no new Swing trades were taken this Week, there are a number of trading set-ups on the watchlist, some of which I discussed in posts throughout the Week.

As I write this, Sunday night futures have already opened and there are huge gaps all over the place following the news out of Cyprus. I don’t really know how the market will take this, of course bearishly is the obvious answer but the markets have shrugged off much worse in the past.

Until we see how the cash sessions go over the next day or 2, there isn’t really much I can predict for the coming Week right now. Although there appear to be great opportunities staring right at us all over the place as of tonight’s open, its too much of a gamble to sleep comfortably with any position open as things stand.

Typically, I entered a long position in FTSE on Friday and have held it over the Weekend. This is the first Indice Trade I’ve held over the Weekend for as long as I can remember and tonight’s open has reminded me why I usually avoid it!

In the meantime, as soon as I can get my bearings with how the markets will digest this Weekend’s news, I’ll provide further updates on any interesting set-ups.

Hope your trading is going well.
